A lot of us know we have potential within us. But just how much do we know we have? That is the million dollar question: we don't know how much there is, and we don't know the limit of it either. To put a limit or to say we know how much potential we as human beings have is not impossible, but there is a good chance you wont find the answer you want.
So exactly how much potential do we have?
Here's my answer: an unlimited amount.
Tiger Woods, arguably one of the greatest(if not the greatest) people to ever play professional golf. His father always said "Eldrick(Tiger's real name), you only get out of it, what you put into it." What Earl Woods is saying is you have all the potential in the world, and how you use that potential, determines what you do in you're life. What did Tiger do with all of his potential? You could say he won a ton of tournaments, he won the Masters(golfs most well known major tournament) more then any player other then fellow great Jack Nicklaus, and is the worlds most marketable athlete in any professional sport, and that's counting all the endorsements and sponsorships he collected.
Does this mean that potential can be used for bad purpose?
Absolutely.
Let's go back to Tiger. Remember the whole mistress scandal? He had it all. The money, the fame, a supermodel wife anyone would love to have, and 2 kids. Well, after one crazy car accident, Tiger spilled his biggest secret. He had affairs with well over 10 different women the whole time he was with his wife. All of the potential he had, and then that happened. Now poor Tiger is trying to get back to the Tiger of old, and he's off to a very rocky start.
How you use you're potential is entirely up to you. We as humans have so much potential, and most of the time, when things get rough, we don't realize how much we have. The potential to help shape the world around us, or the potential to bring it all down in one swift stroke. How you use you'res is entirely up to the life you live. For my sake, and the world's, I hope that we all use our potential for good.
Find the potential within, and make you're world, and this one, a better place.
