I am an American Soldier

Several days ago, I saw a post from a friend. It was a screen shot of a person who shared their views about the United States military and how we should not be given any respect of any kind.  The person claimed that soldiers deserve no respect, and that all they signed up for was a free education, free insurance, and the chance to travel.  Furthermore, this person(with the source being uncredible because the name was blurred out) that soldiers are not classified as heroes, "pussys" who waste a summer learning to shoot a gun. It also claims that if we want to be useful we should pick up a book and learn to save a life instead of being trained to kill.  Instantly outraged at the fact that this was even shown in my News Feed, I believe it is time I spoke out. Now for those of you who say "everyone is entitled to their own opinion" I will agree with you to a degree. Yes, everyone has an opinion, but sometimes that opinion should be kept to yourself to avoid being backlashed, unless all you want is attention.  You voiced your opinion, and now its time I voice my opinion on behalf of me and not only my brothers in arms, but on behalf of all of the United States military.

When I went through the recruiting process to become part of the Missouri National Guard, my recruiter told me about all of the benefits I would receive for enlisting, including the Montgomery GI bill(still considered one of the greatest programs the United States government has conceived after World War II), tuition assistance for college, and a few other benefits to name a few. Let me rest assure to you that those were not the driving force for why I swore to protect the constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

I have men in my family who were in the military, my grandfather on my mother's side fought in WWII, my grandfather on my dad's side was a sailor in Vietnam, and my step-dad was a marine who saw combat during the intervention in Grenada, and friends who have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Kosovo, and other places around the world.  There is proud military history in my blood, and I thank not only them, but all veterans of all conflicts both past and present for the valor they show in taking an oath to defend this great nation of ours, willing ready to die so that freedom is defended from all tyrants who wish to see freedom abolished.

All of my brothers in arms, we go through Basic Training, Boot Camp, whatever you may call it, to learn the skills to survive in a combat enviornment, so that we can survive should we ever see combat. It doesn't matter if we are active duty, reserve, or national guard.  I have friends over in Korea, and a buddy currently deployed in Africa, and I guarantee you the last thing on their minds is all of those awesome benefits that they will receive when they come home.  They worry about home, when they will go back, will they be able to go back? Will their families still be there?

Me and the guys I graduated OSUT with my friends, we became part of the infantry, the backbone of the United States Army.  We sweated 4 1/2 months so that we may one day go and defend freedom.  We did not give up our summer just to learn how to shoot a "big gun".  There was much more involved in what you call giving up our summer.  We had to learn so much more then you think we did, and we had to be in top shape in order to meet the demands of our Drill Sergeants. They didn't drill it into us just because we had to know, but because they have BEEN to combat, they know what it is like to go and fight.  Other members of the military know what combat is like as well.  The Navy, the Air Force, the Marines, the Coast Guard, the Reserves, the National Guard, there are soldiers in every branch who have been there, and they all signed for their own reasons.  But there is one reason that I am willing to bet EVERY soldier, sailor, airman, and marine has:Pride.

Pride in this great nation of ours is what I signed for.  I am willing to jump to active duty after college to become an officer in the United States Army because I want to defend my country.  I want to be able to tell my kids and grand kids down the road that I had the greatest job in the world, being a soldier in the greatest military in the world, defending the greatest country to have ever existed.  How dare you tell us that we are nothing but cold blooded killers who are in it for selfish reasons. I could care less if you don't thank us or if you hate us, but come do the job that many of my brothers around the globe and do their job, to live with hardly anything, to be miles away from home, to have to ruck march many miles on missions, who have to fight tooth and nail just to SURVIVE being killed in action. To those who have fallen, I thank you greatly for the sacrifice you gave so that I may grow up in the United States of America, enlist as a soldier of the United States Army, to be able to train to one day deploy and serve my country honorably.

Before you even THINK about trying to say that we joined for just recognition you are sadly mistaken.  Would YOU give up a summer to become a soldier? Would YOU wear that uniform with great pride?  Would you be willing to go through what many veterans and present day soldiers did for your country.  In reality, I would love to see what you are doing that makes soldiers "deserve no respect".  We will willingly die for freedom, for our country, for our family and friends.  We are soldiers. No, not just soldiers, we are AMERICAN soldiers. We are guardians of freedom and the American way of life.  I ask not for complete respect, but on behalf of all the military, appreciate the support that Americans give us, so that we may continue to fight on and defend this great nation. Don't hate, and if you do, then keep that opinion to yourself.  For the last thing our military needs is for people to tell us we do not deserve any respect because we signed only to"enjoy only free college, insurance and travel."  Much more is required of a soldier and the Soldier's Creed explains who we are as American Soldiers.

I am an American Soldier
I am a warrior and a member of a team
I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values
I will always place the mission first
I will never accept defeat
I will never quit
I will never leave a fallen comrade
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills
I always maintain my arms, my equipment, and myself
I am an expert and a professional
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and DESTROY, the enemies of the United States in close combat
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life
I AM AN AMERICAN SOLDIER.

Last month before BCT

Its been wayyy too long since Ive posted on this blog, having not had the time to post anything. There is so much to catch up on, yet I'm not sure where I should start.  I guess I should start with the military now being a big part of my life now.  As of march I am a part of the Missouri national guard, I am an 11Charlie, meaning I use a mortar along with being part of the infantry.  It has given me a new sense of purpose in my life, for now I wish to attend college(a regrettable THIRD time) to attend ROTC, and compete for a spot in active US Army duty, and as I promised to a friend, my goal is to at least reach the rank of Major, and ultimately become a Colonel.  I leave for Basic Combat Training July 10th, I will be gone from the 10th til at least October. I  cant wait to go into the next chapter of my adventures, and get the most out of the opportunity.

While going to ROTC, I'm going to put myself into exile.  I will probably move back in with my parents, and attend UCM to get my bachelors to become an officer. No job, almost no social life, no facebook, no iPhone. Just me, my books, the military, and the focus of the pride of wearing the bird on my chest.

My Reflection and the thrill of the hunt.

Its been 20 years since I was brought into the world.  I think its time that I do some reflecting on whats happened with me and whats happened in the world as well. Not that I am depressed in any way, I just need to get it out.  So lets get going shall we?

1990s-I do not remember much about what happened in the first decade of my life.  Bill Clinton was president, I was obsessed with Disney movies.  World issues were pretty stable at the time.  The Persian Gulf War wasn't even a war, it was a conflict that lasted less then 120 combat hours.  President Clinton was considered the greatest thing to happen to the United States since President Reagan.  Video games had taken a whole new level from their 1980s counterparts.  Portable gaming became very popular, with Pokemon being the defining moment of portable gaming. I went from kindergarten to 2nd grade when it came to education, boy did I have it easy.  Sports wise my mom coached my little league soccer team, where I was a Goaltender, which I didn't enjoy. I played basketball, which I liked, but I had a setback when I

A) Spiked a jump ball into a girls face, making her cry(oops)
B) Got a technical foul for punching a kid in the stomach for stealing the ball from me(no one ever told me there was no hitting in basketball)

When I didn't like those, my mom suggested I give hockey a try.  It allowed me to hit people, which I liked.  First season didn't go to well, I still had trouble skating when I was 6, and I was playing recreational roller hockey with kids almost 8 years older then me. Then I got into Ice hockey, which was better because all the kids were my age.  Wasn't really good, but Coach Shelly thought I would make a great enforcer one day.  Well, she kind of got it right.  Next season, under Coach Bob, I always wanted to line somebody up for a good check into the boards, or hit for just no reason.  I got my first trip to the sin bin that year, I never understood why my mom and dad cheered when I got sent there, until they told me that they wanted to see me go out and hit people.  Then I got sent to the penalty box TOO much.

2000s(elementry to junior high)- My growing pain.  America had been attacked by terrorists in 2001, and President Bush began a conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq that would last well into the next decade.  Mom married a new guy, and at the time, I wanted the old life back.  There was no hockey, there was football though, I still got to hit people, but i couldn't do it on skates, I had to do it with my feet.  I went through growing pains, I rebelled against my parents frequently, I didnt do things right.  I wanted things back, and my step dad wasnt happy with how i acted.  guess it could have been a whole lot worse. I went Up and Down in school, occasionally hitting straight A's or narrowly failing a grade. Things with my step dad kinda warmed up, then I let emotions get to me and we had an icy relationship till my junior high school.  When I got to high school, I didn't it to be such a tumultuous experience.

2000s(high school)-High school brought a lot of new challenges and experiences that I did not think I could imagine possible.  My freshman year, I was a district football champion and helped my baseball team reach 3rd place at state.  But that year wasn't without its flaws, flaws that I need not address.  I went through more growing pains, by the time I was a sophomore in high school, me and my step dad had completely fell out.  I did not want anything with him, he did not want anything with me, so we kept out of each others hair.  Junior year changed.  We suddenly became friends, and almost to the point where he was like my real dad.  It was a rather rewarding endeavor.  Halfway through my junior year, I moved up to Pennsylvania with my real dad, and lived up there.  Second half of junior year really sucked, I suddenly had more restrictions, I had a new slate of reputation to build up, I had to make a good impression, which at first I didn't, but over time I grew back into it.  Suddenly at the end of my high school career, I had done something that my dad, grandpa, or any male on that side of the family had done;graduated.

2010-present- I went to culinary school for awhile, didn't like it like I thought I would.  I went through another dark period, I was upset all the time, I wanted to go back to Pennsylvania, where I belonged.  I did go back, but realized I was digging myself in a bigger hole.  Sure seeing my friends and all was great, but I kept spinning in circles.  I do miss it, and I know my step sister misses me a lot, but one day ill get back up their for a visit.

When I look back on my reflection, and how I have grown up, I take a look at my life as though it is like a hunt.  Sometimes I get the trophy kill, sometimes I end up empty handed, but in the end, I look and realize that the thrill of the hunt is what makes me who I am today.  Forget getting blindsided by problems, reflect on the good times that I have enjoyed in my life, and look forward to creating more opportunities to make the hunt that much more enjoyable.

When I look back on life, it is like looking into a mirror, a mirror that allows me to look at my flaws, my triumphs, and everything I have done.  However, the mirror does not do one thing;tell the future.  I guide my own path, make my own destiny, set the course for my life.  Its not about taking it day by day, or year by year, its about following the way of the dawn, and greet each moment in life with full gusto.

And that, is what makes the thrill of the hunt that much more enjoyable.

Its my favorite time of the year!!!! Chiefs vs. Falcons Preview

Finally, after 8 months of depression, sad times, busting my ass to pass the time, it is my absolute favorite part of the year aside from Christmas and New Years.  I'll give you 3 guesses and a hint.  Its a sport.  Still stumped?  Its time I tell you.

THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SEASON IS UNDERWAY!

After the super bowl ended, I was upset football was over, but the draft followed, then OTA's, then training camp, and the preseason.  Now it is time for my boys to do battle for 16 weeks in order to find out if they will make a run for the ultimate pinnacle in team sports:

The Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy.

My Chiefs will wage their first battle at Arrowhead Stadium against the Atlanta Falcons, and we have some factors in today's game for both teams.  The chiefs of course playing at home will have natural home field territory, so the pressure is on the falcons to silence the crowd early and put momentum on their side.  The last time these two teams met it was 2007, where the falcons landed a 37-3 smack-down on the chiefs.  It was Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan's first year in the league after being drafted 3rd overall, and it was a horrible season for the chiefs, having to go through 3 different quarterbacks and finishing a disastrous 4-12 season.

Keys for the Chiefs:

Get the run game going early-The chiefs have dangerous speedster Jamaal Charles back after a torn ACL last year ruined his year during week 2.  With the free agent signing of Peyton Hillis, look for the chiefs to try and establish the ground game early and keep Atlanta's defense out for periods of time.
Minimizing Injuries-Season ending injuries to Tony Moeaki, Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, and Matt Cassel derailed the chiefs, and it will be up to them to prevent these injuries from happening again if they want to find success.
Defense plays strong-With star pass rusher Tamba Hali serving a one game suspension, and with safety Kendrick Lewis likely out(shoulder), the defense will have to stand up and rely on Andy Studebaker and John Mcgraw to play at a high tempo.  Cornerbacks Brandon Flowers(foot) and Jalil Brown(groin), also Linebacker Derrick Johnson(ankle) and Jevon Belcher(foot) are all game time decisions, but are expected to play.  In a pass heavy offense like Atlanta, it will be up to the secondary to shut down start receivers Roddy White and Julio Jones and make the day tough for quarterback Matt Ryan

Keys for the Falcons:
Storm the Cassel- If they can shut down the pass attack, the falcons could force Matt Cassel to make plays with his feet.
Shut down the run- The chiefs could very well have a top rushing attack in the league, and the falcons have had problems with stopping the run.  They will have to be ontop of their game if they stand a chance at stopping Jamaal Charles and Peyton "the White Rhino" Hillis.
Get the pass game airborn- If the run is established, Matt Ryan will be looking for his receivers to make big plays for him.  With pro bowler Roddy White and freakish athlete Julio Jones, plus future hall of fame tight end(and former chief) Tony Gonzalez, Ryan could have a field day if he can pick apart a young but stiff Kansas City defensive unit.

With those keys in mind, I expect a hard fought battle for a good opening weekend of football. GO CHIEFS!

Thoughts on Mitt Romney and on the Republican National Convention.

I took the time to actually watch the Republican National Convention, since I have taken quite an interest in the country and Her political interests.  Aside from Clint Eastwood making a surprise speech that was quite comical, I thought Mitt Romney handled himself very well.  He was to the point, he made some bold statements, and he had a voice and look of confidence that made him look and sound like a President of the United States.

As a libertarian, I am quite sad that once again, the two party system dominates how American politics work.  In my lifetime, I will probably never see a libertarian be elected to the White House.  In this election, however, my vote is given to one man, and that man is Willard Mitt Romney.  I have rarely dealt with liberal politics, and liberal politics I will not deal with (but that won't stop me from loving Pearl Jam, or Ben and Jerry's ice cream).  My parents listened to a lot of conservative radio, seeming as conservatives are about as close to libertarian as you can get.  I stiffly oppose the liberals and how they think, but that is not why I'm writing this post.  I am writing about Mitt, and how he did at the Republican National Convention.

To kick it off, the RNC had a surprise guest speaker, tough grit cowboy actor Clint Eastwood gave a speech endorsing Romney, and next to him was an empty chair.  Eastwood acted as though President Obama was in the chair(which he clearly wasn't), and carried out a Q&A session with "Obama" occasionally being interrupted by the latter.  By the time all was said and done,  Clint walked off the stage, and out came a senator.  His speech was pretty inspiring, and drew a huge amount of acclaim from the crowd(like most conventions).  But what I noticed was that after the speech, Mitt didn't have a bunch of hype surrounding him when he walked through the tunnel and started shaking hands.  I mean, sure there was music, he shook a lot of hands, he took the slow step up the steps looking like a man set to take on the world, but he didn't need all the hype, he delivered his message in one effective speech.  The man looked confident, he looked proud, prideful, and he looked like a person who could get many people to join the Romney/Ryan ticket.

I endorse Mitt Romney over Barrack Obama for the following reasons:

Energy-Romney, like many Republicans, want to end our dependency on foreign oil by 2020 and start drilling into our oil reserves.  I believe this is smart, and many Americans refuse to accept the fact that gas will go down in price if we start drilling on American soil.  Lets look at it like this, the price for a barrel of oil is too high for anyone to count.  If we were to end dependency on foreign oil and were to drill on our native soil, our gas would potentially drop to below the 3 dollar mark, and who knows? maybe we could get below the 2.50 mark, and it would save Americans a fair amount of money.
Economy/Trade-As a person who supports free trade, I believe free trade is the only way we as an American Society can revitalize our economy.  With the recession hitting again, i believe that we must expand foreign markets, and trade with other countries, and they trade with us,  resulting in more imports, more exports, and more money.  That oil we drill on American soil?  We can export it to other countries to make a profit, even if we have to go through a middle man.  Agreements such as NAFTA(North American Free Trade Agreement) and CAFTA(Dominican-Republic and Central American American Trade Agreement) helped open trade routes with Central America and Mexico, helping their economies and in the process, helping ours.  If more countries agreed to free trade with us, we could potentially slash our debt down to a manageable margin by 2025, and if more free trade was allowed, that goal could be very well attainable.   The fact that Romney also supports small businesses and  created many jobs in Massachusetts when he was governor there, compared to Obama slashing many jobs NATIONWIDE gives me plenty of reason to support Romney.
Social issues-When I say "Social Issues"I mean what I call the "Big 3" Abortion, Planned Parenthood, and Gay Marriage.  When it comes to abortion, I have the same stance as Romney does, Pro-life, and that abortion should be illegal EXCEPT in the conditions of a woman being raped, a target of incest, or if the mother's life is threatened.  Other then that, it is a woman's choice to not to have protected sex, and if they happen to be pregnant, that was their choice.  They decided to have unprotected sex, they decided to let the man donate his sperm to her, and it was their choice to do that, and Planned Parenthood stands in the way of Pro-life, openly supporting abortion, something me and Mr. Romney do not support.
Gay marriage- I am incredibly upset at the fact that most people in the United States do not want Romney in office for JUST THIS REASON.  Don't get me wrong, I do not have problems with gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transsexuals, but the fact that most of Americans would see four more years of EMBARRASSMENT just to see same sex couples marry.  Marriage is a "union between one man and one woman", as stated in God's Word.  Does this mean I am against gay rights? No, but in the book of God, marriage is reserved for a man and woman.   This is Obama's one of only two advantages he has going into Election Day.  Sadly, this issue might be the reason Obama might be re elected.
Budget-Balancing the federal budget, it doesn't get much simpler then that.  Watch what is being spent.
Immigration-Yes, this is one thing that is a HUGE stickler for me.  As it currently states right now, any person born in the United States is a US citizen, and is entitled to a free education and federal loans for college.  Why do you think illegals are coming over? So their children can be naturalized and can receive free education.  Come on, your kidding me right?
Repelling Obamacare- FOR ALL THAT IS SIMPLE AND CLEAN THIS HAS TO BE TAKEN AWAY.  Obamacare is the worst thing Obama did. For EVERYBODY to have the same insurance, whether they want it or not?  Come on, that violates the constitution, are you kidding me?  Essentially, taking benefits from those who work for it and give it to those who don't?  That's not how America was built to work.  The ones that work for benefit should get the benefit, not the ones who don't work. Romney has the right idea here.  Repeal Obamacare, and get something better in place.  In Massachusetts, Romney had a plan that was simply called Romneycare, and boom, the model worked.  More power to you Mr. Romney.

Looking at the political stance of Mitt Romney, and the fact that he has women and the middle class on his side, I think Mr. Romney has a clear shot at possibly dethroning Obama.  Obama has three advantages this year, he has the GLBT community on his side, the majority of the African American population on his side, and he has immense popularity with the youth of the United States.   Sorry Mr. President, but that is not going to be enough.  The stance and credentials you claim you have, and on top of your election being a publicity stunt, will NOT be enough to change the many American families, lives and opportunists you have pissed off in four years. Yes, George Bush put us in some deep bush, but you didn't even attempt to fix the problem.  You promised change and hope, you instead divided and conquered.  You promised many jobs, and instead you slashed many, ruining many lives in the process, and ruining where jobs came from; Small buisness.  You promised to cut down on the national debt, but since your term, you have went from 2 trillion in debt to 8 trillion in debt.  You promised that we would become a greater nation, when in reality you were elected because you had Youth, African Americans, and illegal immigrants on your side, and turned the 2008 election into a popularity contest.  You were not elected because you were the people's champion. You were elected because you were popular.

What do you have to say for yourself Obama?  I believe that Mitt Romney will accomplish far more then what you did.  Because truthfully, we believe in America.  You simply gave up on it.

Possible "A thousand suns" story

SO I know its been awhile since Ive posted anything since Petes post, but I have decided to embark on my next project.  I am thinking about adapting the Linkin Park album "A thousand suns" into a story, with each track being a chapter in the story.  It will take a while to put the characters and settings and details together, but I think this will make a pretty awesome project.  However it will take quite a while before I put into a reality.  I hope that this project becomes a success.  Not that I expect for it to be, but I think that it would be a fun idea, just to kick it around.  The thing I know about it right now is that I will not mess the order of tracks up.  It will reflect the actual track listing.  The listing is:

The requiem
The radience
Burning in the skies
Empty Spaces
When they come for me
Robot Boy
Jornada Del Meurtro
Waiting for the end
Blackout
Wretches and Kings
Wisdom, Justice, and Love
Iredescent
Fallout
The Catalyst
The Messenger

In all, its a 15 part story, from beginning to end, all about the concept of human fear and nuclear warfare.  I will keep you updated throughout my project, and hopefully people like it!

Peter Freshour is not a killer #TeamFreshour

Peter was willing to release this picture to us of he and his cat Largo .
Let me start out by saying that this post is in no way meant to offend anyone.  This post has a goal, and its a goal to help people understand that the current issue involving Peter Freshour is being blown completely out of proportion.  Those who disbelieve in this post can simply not read this, and move on.  For those who wish to take the time to read this post, I thank you for taking your time to read it.

For those of you who do not know what has happened, or have heard a biased account of what has happened, here is what happened, quoted by the Facebook page "Peter Freshour is no malicious killer:stop the hate"

"On August 4, Peter Freshour was moving into his Scranton apartment unpacking boxes, and opening them with a knife. He went outside to take out the garbage when a stray cat attacked him and his kitten Largo. After latching onto his leg, the cat would not go away, so Peter stabbed the cat with the knife he held for opening boxes. Being a hunter and outdoors man, Peter saw that the cat was near death
and felt bad seeing it suffer. He walked over to put the cat out of his misery. He even waived to his neighbors as this went on.

When the Patrolman Paul Helring came, Freshour told them everything, and requested the cat be tested for rabies. They denied his request. After going for his rabies shots, he went downtown to the police station again, where his request was denied."
Viewing this page for the first time, I saw lots of comments and posts from many people who believe what Pete is a "piece of shit" and that "only an idiot would buy the story of a grown man being deathly afraid of a 5lb. cat.", my first reaction was "ok everyone is freaking out a little too much", but after seeing comments of pure hatred and loathing, it has prompted me to write this post in defense of Pete, regardless of how little I know him.

The story that has went around is that a stray cat bit Pete in the leg, as Pete had felt threatened by the stray, he stabbed the cat in self defense, acting on fight or flight instincts, and the cat started to suffer.  If you were in Mr. Freshour's shoes, would you let that cat continue to suffer?  Would YOU let it just go away and suffer for a few more hours before collapsing and dying in agony?  I, for one, would not.  I believe that Pete did the right thing, and gave the stray the easy way out.

But that isn't what everyone believes.

According the Times-Tribune, they say that there were "witness accounts" of Mr. Freshour luring this cat into his yard, stabbing him multiple times, and then dumped the body.

Let me start by saying that because of the way society has evolved, people think that all animals are not harmful, and that they are not aggressive towards human beings. This is false,  strays can carry many diseases, including rabies, which can be harmful to humans.  As such, most of the people who have posted hate on this support page for Pete are women, and we all know that in the case of most women, "cats are adorable creatures" and that it would be a crime against nature to kill one, even in self defense.  You don't know whether or not if that cat had a disease, or if that cat was lured, you are essentially going off a "witness" and that witness cannot tell the story like Peter can.   Peter is the only one who knows the whole story, from beginning to end.  Instead of jumping on him, give him a chance to let him speak for himself.

People I have seen post around various sources of the internet claim that Peter is showing signs of becoming a serial killer and shows a lust for blood, they believe he should rot in jail for the "crime" in which he is being charged with.   The old theory goes that serial killers start killing animals first as practice, and then move onto humans.  I hate to debunk all of you who think that he is a serial killer in training, but that theory is only proven in children aged 5-11, not a full grown 21 year old adult like Pete.  Everyone who is close to Pete argue that he is not that kind of person, and I agree.  Would Pete be the kind of guy who would just lure a family cat into his yard to brutally murder, even though he has a pet cat?  No, I could not see Pete doing that.  As a person who was his Class of 2009 president, had a great social and academic standing, and has a family that is well respected in the community, there is little evidence that he would intentionally murder a cat.  How about Veterinarians who put down animals as part of their career, do we label them as murderers? No we do not.  We do not even think about that because we know it is part of what they do.  But we are going to label Peter Freshour as a blood lusting killer for killing a stray who potentially had rabies in self defense?  That has contradictory and judgemental written all over it.

Stop the hate.
For those of you that post all of these posts about how Peter should be "stabbed several times" or that he is a coward for "killing an innocent cat that was lured to him", every single one of you should be ashamed of yourselves.  You people are partaking in a form of cyber bullying, and with these attacks on Pete, you are accomplishing nothing but making yourselves unintelligent, and you all are blowing the story way out of context, by claiming Pete is a mass murderer and a blood lusting psychopath.  What all have you accomplished?! Have you all thought that just by posting on a page, judging him for an act in self defense, that it will cause Pete to give up his fight to plead his innocence?

The answer is no.

Pete knows what happened, he knows the story.  From what people have told me, Peter Freshour has a strong head on his shoulders.  You people who are giving this message of hate and loathing, you people who believe that a stray cat killed in self defense has more rights then a human being, you crusaders of prejudice and improper judgement, it just gives more fuel to help Peter get through his fight.  I believe that Peter is no killer, I believe that he is an individual of good standing, who is respected by friends and family alike.  I support Team Freshour.

Thank you for your time and patience
